Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Management Plans

The Management Plans are the prime documents which set out the vision for the Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the priorities for its management. Under the Countryside and Rights of Way Act AONB Management Plans have to be reviewed every 5 years by the constituent local authorities. The review of the Management Plan is delegated to the Joint Advisory Committee and the National Landscape Unit.
