The Green and Blue Infrastructure (GBI) Strategy describes the network of natural and semi-natural features as well as ‘blue’ assets such as rivers, ponds and lakes that exist across the county.
GBI is not limited to traditional greenspaces such as parks and can involve various interventions to thread nature into streetscapes or to increase connectivity between assets at various landscape scales.
