Description
Several species may require reintroductions to support the recovery of their populations in Herefordshire. This involves the deliberate release of the species, either from captivity or areas where populations still remain, to reestablish in areas which it used to inhabit.

Priority description
As a declining species, water vole reintroductions may be required in specific locations to enable populations to reestablish. Careful consideration of suitable locations, with an absence of American Mink and suitable riparian habitats will be important.
