Restore pond habitat
Species measure 1 description
Pillwort is the UK’s only native aquatic fern, which thrives at one location in Herefordshire on pond edge habitats. At a second site where it has recently been lost, the removal of a bund and reinstatement of the pond profile alongside translocation will help to restore this population in the county.
