Cuckoos migrate to Britain to breed in the summer months, famously laying their eggs in the nests of other birds for them to raise. Cuckoos occur in a wide variety of habitats, but scrub and reedbed creation have been highlighted as target habitats to help cuckoo populations in Herefordshire.
