Summary

This Local Housing Market Assessment (LHMA) has been prepared to provide an evidence base for Herefordshire Council's policies regarding housing need and demand (for market and affordable housing) within Herefordshire and the seven local housing market areas (HMAs) within the county, which are focused on the main settlements of Hereford City, Bromyard, Kington, Ledbury, Leominster and Ross-on-Wye along with the Golden Valley area.

The LHMA will inform and support planning policies within the Local Development Framework (LDF), the preparation of housing related strategies together with wider investment decisions by the council and its partners.
