Herefordshire Compact

Name
Herefordshire Compact
Summary

Herefordshire Compact is the mutually agreed framework to promote and support partnership working between the voluntary and community sectors, and public bodies to benefit people living in the county.

Drawn up by a group of representatives from each of the sectors it provides the essential guide to good working practice between sectors so that they can:

  • Develop strategies collaboratively
  • Discuss challenges and needs prior to commissioning services
  • Work together to produce the best outcomes for the people of Herefordshire

The Compact document, Working Well Together, sets out how partners should work together in key areas including:

  • Working together - expectations and commitments from partners to a shared approach
  • Monitoring of projects and measurements of success
  • Funding and procurement guidelines
  • Volunteering
  • Working together to solve difficulties
