The purpose of this policy is to set out the principles that Herefordshire Council as the licensing authority proposes to apply in exercising its functions under the Gambling Act 2005. We must carry out our functions with a view to promoting the gambling objectives and as such, these objectives provide a framework for the Statement of Principles.
