Session length days times

Our session times run from 1 hour - 15 hours per week with a minimum of 1 hour per session. These can take place during school hours for student unable to attend a school based provision or after school hours as required. 

Details of provision service

Winchmore Tutors provides specialist tuition for students with a variety of needs from autism and ADHD through to mental health and medical needs. Our tuition takes place within students homes, local libraries and school sites and is focused on transitioning student to a more formal school setting or through examination an on to higher education and employment. We offer specialist transition packages and as well as examination booking and support. Our tutors are qualified teachers with at least 2 years UK teaching experience as well as being specialists in working with vulnerable students.

Programmes offered and cost

Winchmore Tutors offers outreach tuition in English, Maths and Science as well as supporting specialist subjects and needs such as functional skills, ESOL and special educational needs from KS1 through to post 16. Our tuition is based on a hourly cost of £60/ hour which includes resources, set-up and induction meeting and review meetings.
