Details of provision service

Smart Education is a specialist interim tuition service providing part-time 1:1 educational support for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and additional barriers to learning. We are not an onsite school or alternative provision setting; instead, we deliver personalised tuition in the home or community, working closely with schools and Local Authorities across the Midlands, East and North to provide high-quality, tailored interim packages.

Our SEN specialist tutors support young people with a wide range of needs, including ADHD, ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD, medical needs, SEBD, SEMH, anxiety, and youth offending backgrounds. We provide supplementary tuition, re-engagement support, interim education while awaiting suitable school placements, and targeted subject support for Functional Skills and GCSE examinations.

Each tutor is carefully matched to the individual student’s needs to ensure the right expertise and approach for every referral. We place strong emphasis on safeguarding and compliance, with thorough referral reviews and initial assessments to create effective, student-centred learning plans.

Our mission is to remove barriers to learning, re-engage young people in education, and support successful transitions back into appropriate educational settings.
