FuzzyPegs offers part-time alternative provision with structured, flexible session timings to meet individual pupil needs.
Options available:
- 3 days per week: 9:30 am – 2:30 pm (up to 15 hours per week)
- 4 days per week: 9:30 am – 1:15 pm (up to 15 hours per week)
All sessions are delivered on a commissioned basis by schools or the local authority, with pupils receiving personalised support through 1:1 or small group teaching.

FuzzyPegs is a specialist SEND Alternative Provision supporting children aged 4–11 who face barriers to accessing mainstream education. The provision offers personalised learning programmes, 1:1 support and a nurturing environment designed to help pupils develop communication, emotional regulation and confidence in learning.
Using a Total Communication approach, including Widgit visuals and Signalong, FuzzyPegs supports pupils with a wide range of communication and sensory needs. The setting provides specialist learning spaces and sensory environments and works closely with schools, families, and professionals to support pupil progress and engagement.Placements are commissioned by schools or the local authority and delivered as part-time alternative provision.
