Bonterre CIC proposes to deliver a personalised, nature-based education and wellbeing programme designed to re-engage them in learning and support their social, emotional and mental health needs.
Bonterre is an established alternative provision provider based on an 8-acre smallholding at Top Barn Farm, Worcester. We specialise in working with young people who struggle to access mainstream education due to ASC,ADHD, anxiety, trauma, low confidence, or previous negative experiences of school.Our Offer
1. Individualised Programme
We will deliver a tailored timetable that meets the needs and interests of the young person, delivered through:- 1:1 or small-group sessions, 5:2 with experienced staff.
- A structured day with clear routines and achievable goals.
- Activities selected to build engagement, confidence and emotional regulation.

2. Nature-Based Learning
The programme will include:- Horticulture and gardening
- Animal care
- Outdoor learning and land-based skills
- Cooking and practical tasks
- Rural and creative crafts
These activities provide natural opportunities to develop communication skills, problem-solving, resilience and teamwork, while supporting mental wellbeing.
3. Wellbeing & Emotional Support
Our environment is calm, predictable and low-pressure. We support young people who experience anxiety, trauma or behavioural difficulties by:- Offering a safe, nurturing outdoor environment
- Providing adult role models and consistent relational support
- Building confidence, self-esteem and emotional awareness
If required, the placement can also include:
- Counselling or psychotherapy
- Nature-based Occupational Therapy
Tuition
Specialist tuition English and Maths, from year 4 through to GCSE
We offer in house certificates in animal care, Horticulture, Woodwork and Cooking

Delivery & Practicalities
- Sessions available up to 16 hours per week, full-day or half-day.
- Staffing: All practitioners are experienced, trained and DBS-checked.
- Safeguarding, behaviour management and risk assessments are in place.
- Progress is monitored and shared with the LA/school through regular reports.
