- Programmes offered and cost
-
We offer 2 programmes across the 6–25-year-old range.
1. 6-16 Tuition and Mentoring
We start every programme with on entry assessments which baseline the attainment in chosen areas of the learners we support.
Level appropriate objectives are then pieced together to create an appropriate curriculum for each learner.
Our specialist SEN mentors create plans that aim to not only give models and scaffolding for learning but deliver as much as possible learning as experiences within the community, rather than just at a desk or on a computer, although this will play some part of the offer.Regular attainment snapshots and progress data is shared with the mentee as well as the referring agencies along with termly reports that articulate in more detail the progress and new targets for the mentee.
Tuition and mentoring are delivered in a 5 hour a day structure with a maximum of 15 hours a week.
Our IT system LearnTrek enables us to report attendance and any safeguarding issues with the relevant agencies as and when needed and our safeguarding team work alongside the SEN Mentors to provide a safe a service as possible.
Our tuition platform Doodle will support our mentees in their Maths and English curriculum, with initial baseline assessments and progression reports.
This service is available at £55 ph. (Based on the 15 hours a week delivery maximum) with a standard daily charge of £30 for travel expenses and a daily cost for lunch provision of £5.
15 hour a week maximum contract will not exceed £930 plus VAT.
2. 16-25 Employment, Education or Training and Mentoring
Our 16-25 programmes also start with an on-entry assessment, but with one that assesses pathway choices, previous learning experiences and barriers to engagement.
Our mentors, in partnership with local agencies, supporting routes into employment, education or training, support the mentee to take the first steps into their next phase of life.
We support those with EHCP targets to factor in additional needs that are to be met in order for this next phase to a a sustainable and enjoyable one.
We work closely with the DWP, Employment and Skills hub and training providers who all help to create pathways for progress.
Termly reports are written to update progress and to inform of positive behaviour changes and outcomes.
Our safeguarding team work closely with the mentor and mentee to make the experience as safe as possible and oversee session notes to act upon anything where the mentee is vulnerable. This service is available at £55 ph. (Based on the 15 hours a week delivery maximum) with a standard daily charge of £30 for travel expenses and a daily cost for lunch provision of £5.
