Details of provision service

Our vision
That all young people belong to a learning community

Our mission
To enable young people to reconnect to learning through building positive working relationships with trusted adults

To support young people to access learning that will enable them to make positive choices in their life

To work with others to ensure that small steps of change add up to transformations

B2 mentoring offers alternative provision placements for students who are currently not able to access full-time educational provisions.
Our staff work 1:1 with students in the local community. Our goal is to ensure that all young people are able to receive the support and guidance they need to succeed.
Our approach combines a range of therapeutic approaches to support individuals who may have experienced challenges in previous schools and educational provisions. We specialise in providing mentoring packages to support and build readiness for young people to re-engage with more formal education and learning.
Our mentors are skilled, experienced practitioners with backgrounds in education and coaching. With solid relationships as a foundation to every programme, our mentors work to ensure that learning and development are delivered using the most accessible approaches for that young person.
At B2 Mentoring we believe that education is important, but personal development is fundamental. We create all our provisions with built-in opportunities for young people to grow through new experiences and structured activities within the local community.

Accreditations

Led by a team of experienced Head Teachers, B2 Mentoring can offer a wide range of skills and expertise to each of our students.

Prior to beginning provisions we work with other agencies and professionals to create a structured programme, emphasising wellbeing, development and learning targets.
