Libraries residents' consultation
Have your say on the future of library services across the county. Thursday 7 May to Wednesday 20 May 2026.
Your views on how the future of library services in the county should look
This consultation is focused on looking ahead. It is not a review of individual libraries, but rather an opportunity for you to share your ideas and priorities for how services should evolve in the future to represent the modern world and the way people access services and use the library spaces.
Libraries are at the heart of many communities, providing access not only to books and information but also to digital services, learning opportunities, and welcoming community spaces.
As needs and expectations continue to change, we want to ensure our library services remain relevant, inclusive, and responsive.
We are looking for opinions from library users and non-users on what people value most about libraries, the evolving role libraries should play, what services they would like to see in the future, and how libraries can continue to support learning, access to information, digital inclusion, and community life.
Have your say
