Proposed increase to taxi licence fees 2024-25 consultation

Have your say on the proposed increases to taxi licensing fees. 14 March to 11 April 2024.

In accordance with Section 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, we are consulting regarding increasing the fees paid for applications associated with taxi and private hire vehicle, driver and operator licences.

Email any comments to taxilicensing@herefordshire.gov.uk or send by post to Taxi Licensing, Herefordshire Council, Plough Lane, Hereford HR4 0LE.

Deadline

Comments must be received by 11 April 2024.

What happens next

  • If no objections are received or are received and withdrawn before the consultation deadline, the proposed fee increase shall come into force on 12 April 2024.
  • If objections are received, the council will consider them and set a new date when the new fees will come into force.
