The Herefordshire Archive and Records Centre (HARC) is a wonderful award-winning ‘Passivhaus design’ building with close associations to the old Rotherwas Munitions Factory.
It offers a range of rooms, a gallery, and spaces for events. Or you can hire the whole venue.
Building features and facilities
With great transport links for walking, cycling, public transport or by car, HARC is perfect for professional, social, community and volunteer groups for training, meetings, and events. There is free parking with an electric charging point and a covered area for bikes.
Wi-Fi and AV equipment is available free with room bookings if required - flip chart (not including pens and paper), projector, screen and television for use with your own laptop.
Refreshments are available to order in advance: tea or coffee £1.00/unit; filtered water 75p/unit.
You can even have a tour of the archives as part of your visit, subject to booking fee.
Accessibility
Both meeting rooms and the gallery space are on the ground floor and are accessible. There are two accessible toilets on the ground floor and a portable hearing loop, which is available on request.
