Located in the heart of Hereford, Gardner Hall consists of two licensed ceremony rooms - The Woollard Room and the Orangery.
The venue combines a modern look and feel on the inside, in a central Hereford city location, with the terrace and Queen's Lawn behind. Together with the beautiful neighbouring Art College building, the venue offers inclusive spaces and great photo opportunities.
The Woollard Room
The main ceremony room is the Woollard Room, which sits at the heart of the building, and can accommodate up to 70 guests.
The Orangery
Directly adjacent is the bright and airy Orangery, which is ideal for a more intimate ceremony with up to 30 guests.
Outside space
Whichever of the rooms you choose, there are great opportunities outside for post ceremony photographs, including on the adjacent terrace and Queen's Lawn.
How to book
Ceremonies can take place Mondays to Saturdays between 10am and 7pm (except bank holidays) and is available to book now.
Couples who are interested in booking their marriage or civil partnership ceremony can do this through our online booking system on our ceremony booking page. It is simple and straightforward to book your ceremony.
For couples booking the licensed rooms at Gardner Hall, your booking encompasses both the venue and the attendance of the registrars.
However, couples wishing to hold their ceremony in any of our other approved venues, should contact the venue direct prior to booking the registrars.
Couples living in Herefordshire can also book their notice appointment online through our online register office booking form.
Other ceremonies
The Woollard Room and Orangery are also available for a range of non-legal ceremonies, including Naming Ceremonies, Vow Renewals and Commitment Ceremonies. These ceremonies can be tailored to your circumstances and are a great way to celebrate different life events and milestones.

Directions
If you are approaching from Aylestone Hill, we are on the left hand side just past the Venns Lane Care Home. If you are approaching from College Road, we are on the right hand side just past St Francis Xavier's Primary School. There is limited free parking on site. If the car park is full, there is some street parking available but parking restrictions apply.
