A direct cremation is the word used within the funeral sector to describe a cremation without a funeral service and any mourners in attendance. 

At Hereford Crematorium, we offer a simple cremation service which is slightly different. 

Whilst our simple cremation does not allow for a service, family members are welcome to greet and accompany the coffin into the service room as well as being able to select a favourite piece of music to be played.

All we ask is that your time within the service room is kept to 5 minutes. 

A simple cremation is available Tuesday to Friday at 8.15am and 8.25am.
