Expedition Aims
Borneo 2009 is an opportunity for young people from Herefordshire to take part in a challenging journey across Sabah. The 2007 expedition was part of the 50th Anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award programme and due to its success more expeditions have been planned. The aim of the Award and the aim of the expedition are the same: 'To provide an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding experience.' With expert guidance and instruction you will find undiscovered skills and qualities. You will also contribute to group life in a challenging environment whilst developing a keen sense of community. We will provide you with the intense training and support, both before and during the expedition. This will enable you to participate fully and to genuinely contribute to all aspects of the expedition.
