Volunteering to help with the Award

Photo of a boy sitting down There are lots of opportunities to get involved as a volunteer with The Duke of Edinburgh's Award and volunteers take part in a huge range of activities, helping to deliver and promote The Award throughout the UK.

Many people have skills and perhaps even some qualifications, which we can help you use. These do not have to be ‘outdoor skills’, you may be able to help with supervision, or perhaps you have financial skills and could help with fundraising. Whatever your talents The Award needs more people like you to be able to help even more young people.

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award wouldn't be possible without the dedication and support from the many leaders, helpers, assessors and supporters, so why not get involved with The Award and join them?

You may already know of a group locally that might need help, or you could contact the Award Team for more information, email dofeaward@herefordshire.gov.uk.
