Checklist of common questions relating to the Volunteering, Skill and Physical sections
When planning the section
- In the Volunteering section, has the participant received
some form of training?
- Has practical service been undertaken?
- In the Skills section, does the instructor/assessor hold or
possess the appropriate position, qualification or
experience?
- In the Physical section, does the instructor/assessor hold
or possess the appropriate position, qualification or
experience?
When completing the record book
- Has an activity been undertaken which fulfils the
conditions of each Section and can they be related to a
programme listed in the Programmes File?
- Have the time requirements as specified in the Handbook
been fulfilled?
- Are the dates entered in each Section correct with regard
to the participant's choice?
- Has there been regular commitment throughout the duration
the Section?
- Has the assessor's report been completed appropriately and
signed by the assessor.
- Has the assessor recorded their position and/or
qualification?
- Has the participant had the opportunity to review their
experience in each Section?
These letter templates provide a list of Frequently Asked Questions and guidelines for instructors and assessors of the Physical Recreation, Service and Skills sections. Each is designed to offer basic information in an accessible format, that can be easily edited to include additional information.
