Gold Award
Age limits
Start at 16
The upper age limit for all Awards is 25.
Time needed
It would usually take between 12-18 months to complete a Gold Award. The table below gives a breakdown of the different sections of the award and their timescales.

| Time spent on these activities can be flexible, but should average at least an hour a week. | |||||
Participants who have not completed their Silver Award must undertake a further 6 months in either the Service or the longer of the Skills or Physical Recreation Sections.
