| Licence summary | To put a builder's skip on a public road, you need a permit from the local authority. In accordance with Section 139 of the Highways Act 1980, any skip placed within the highway requires the permission of the Highway Authority. A charge of £25 per week will be levied for every week or part thereof during which the skip is allowed to remain on the highway. This is to cover the costs of the administration by the Authority. Please complete the application form, together with the fee of £25 for every week or part thereof you wish the skip to be placed on the highway. |
