Car Sharing

Two Share Logo Hereford has it's own lift-sharing scheme, http://www.twoshare.co.uk/. Launched in June 2004, the scheme matches drivers and passengers who are looking to share their journeys and helps to save money on fuel and parking and reduce congestion and pollution.

More new members each month are joining up and registering their journeys from all corners of the county and beyond. The map of current twoshare members shows that where ever you live in the county, there is a good chance of finding someone nearby with whom to share your journey.

Twoshare.co.uk is a FREE service available to anyone living or working in Herefordshire. You don't need a car to join - you can use the scheme to find or offer a lift for your regular journeys.

Now available to cyclists too!

The Twoshare database has a new facility for cyclists. Ever wondered if other cyclists share your commute? Cyclists can now post their journeys on Twoshare just like car sharers do - enter your journey details as normal and where it asks if you are 'offering a lift' drop down the list and choose 'looking for a BikeBudi'. As this is a relatively new facility you may not get a match straight away, but please pass it on to other cyclists and encourage them to register.
