Community Transport Schemes

There are eight main CT schemes within the County, the majority of which operate through local voluntary organisations. Most schemes have wheelchair accessible vehicles, which are suitable for elderly or less mobile people.

Most Schemes require 48 hours notice of the need for a journey. The more notice given the greater the possibility that a trip can be provided.
