Pommunity Herefordiensis
This scheme has now closed with over 30 communities and local interest groups planting trees for everyone to enjoy.
Help celebrate 200 years since the publication of the Pomona Herefordiensis with Herefordshire Orchard Topic Group in partnership with the Council's Countryside Service. A special offer of free specially grown Herefordshire apple varieties trees for local communities to plant on publicly accessible open space. This project is being managed on behalf of the Orchard Topic Group by Herefordshire Council's Countryside Service and is receiving funding from The Big Tree Plant and support from Frank P Matthews' 'Trees for Life'.


This scheme has now closed for 2011. Due to reprioritisation of officer time it is not planned to run this scheme again in 2012.
