Dinedor Camp
Grid Reference: SO523363Dinedor Camp is an iron-age hillfort situated 2.5 miles south of Hereford City.
This site is well worth a visit for the spectacular views of the surrounding countryside including the City of Hereford and is perfect for a family picnic. The woods on the opposite side of the road are also managed by the Countryside Team and are carpeted with Bluebells in early spring.
The site can be reached by taking the A49 south and then turning on to the B4399 Holme Lacy Road. At the mini roundabout turn right for Dinedor and follow the signs for Dinedor Camp. At the top of the hill there is a small car park with about 6 parking spaces.
