Castle Green, Hereford

The historic Castle Green was once part of the site of Hereford Castle. It is now home to Castle Green Bowling Club and the Nelson Monument which celebrates Nelson's victory at Trafalgar.

This tranquil piece of open space is the perfect place to visit for an afternoon stroll and has excellent links to the other historic parts of Hereford City such as Bishops Meadow and the Cathedral.

Castle Green can be accessed from Mill Street, Castle Street and Quay Street.
