Grounds Maintenance

Grounds maintenance at all of the County's parks and open spaces is managed by the Parks, Countryside & Leisure Development Service in partnership with 'the contractor' Herefordshire Jarvis Services.

The work is monitored by the Parks Team to ensure that grass cutting is undertaken when needed, the trees are kept healthy and the towns floral displays are installed in time for the holiday season etc.

Highway verges

If you have an enquiry about grass cutting on a rural highway verge then please contact the Herefordshire Council Highways Section – follow the link below for their contact details.

Housing Association Enquiries

If you are a tenant of a housing association or have a query about grounds maintenance on land owned by a housing association you must contact them directly as this work is NOT managed by Herefordshire Council. 

Please note that all Housing land that was once managed by Herefordshire Council was transferred to Herefordshire Housing Ltd in 2002.
