Healthy Queenswood

Queenswood Country Park provides lots of opportunities to improve your health and well being.

The adventure play area is a great way for children to let off steam, face challenges and have fun while getting some exercise in the fresh air. The Bertie Buzzard holiday trails encourage children into the woods to explore their natural heritage while getting some exercise and various organised events provide a great way to bond and engage with your children while having fun in the fresh air.

The three waymarked trails are calorie counted so you can use them as part of a walking for health programme or another exercise regime. Please remember there is no cycling at Queenswood.

Away from the picnic area and the buildings, the woods are a great place to get away from the hustle bustle giving an opportunity for quiet relaxation and meditation where you can connect with the natural world and unwind from the pressures of daily life.

Seasonal changes mean that your visit to Queenswood will never be the same twice. The collections of trees create differing atmospheres which you can discover as you walk around and Queenswood gives you the rare opportunity to experience all of this on one site.
