Black Hill

This picnic site has parking spaces for 10 cars along with two picnic tables and is a perfect place to stop for refreshments while exploring the countryside in the west of the county.

Alternatively why not park here to explore the Black Hill or if it is too cold and windy then just take in the spectacular views from the comfort of your car! The information board shows a map of the local area and its footpaths.

Please keep dogs under close control as much of the surrounding area is grazed by sheep.

The site is located next to open common land, 3 miles north-west of Longtown on minor road. (Follow the brown signs.)
