Museum on the Move

Museum on the Move at Hereford Cathedral Museum on the Move is an award winning mobile museum, which is run by Herefordshire Heritage Services in partnership with Shropshire County Council's Museum Service. Museum on the Move exists to provide access to our museum collections for different communities in the county.

For 2011 an exciting "hands-on" exhibition suitable for all ages Our Changing World: The Dinosaur, the Dodo and the Dormouse. This exhibition explores the way in which our planet has changed and also how the creatures that inhabit the planet also change. Why do some creatures become extinct and some survive, is one of the many questions explored in the new exhibition for 2011. This exhibition will give visitors a local perspective on global changes. The fully accessible bus also comes with friendly, knowledgeable staff to help visitors to get the most from their visit.

Museum on the Move will be touring Herefordshire at the following times: Tuesday 7th June - Friday 5th August, Tuesday 1st November 2011 - Friday 24th February 2012.
