An exhibition featuring the work of this well-known children's illustrator. Edward Ardizzone was one of Britain best loved illustrators. Ardizzone made his first book illustrations in 1929 and illustrated over 180 books and contributed to many more during his career. He cemented his name and reputation by writing and illustrating the Little Tim stories. The first Little Tim and the Brave Sea Captain appeared in 1936 and the last Ship's Cook Ginger in 1977. All have remained in print.
