Objects from the museum's own collections on view in the art gallery.

A display about Industry and Craft in Herefordshire. To highlight Herefordshires productive past looked at through the materials things are made from - metal, stone, wood, ceramic and textile.

Various events and workshops will be planned to take place throughout the course of the exhibition; see the local press for details nearer the time.

Cathedrals and Churches: Paintings by Malcolm Ryan

On the stairwell leading from the library foyer to the museum.

Contemporary oil paintings of English churches and cathedrals. "There is a profound sense of Serenity about Malcolm's paintings where depictions of everyday life turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.  Throughout his 70 years Malcolm has had the desire to record the people, places and things around him and showing life in a poetic way - having an affinity with the moment."  Exract from the new magazine 'Venue' for the East Anglia region (Summer 2008).

To complement the annual Three Choirs Festival which takes place at Hereford Cathedral from 8 - 15 August.
