We are looking for all budding artists and established artists alike to help Herefordshire Libraries design new library cards. Anyone can have a go - there are no age limits and in any form.
We would like photographs, drawings and pictures. The winning images will be transferred to the new cards and used by thousands of people. We particularly want entries with the themes of reading, libraries and/or Herefordshire images because many of our customers have requested a card that reflects our beautiful and diverse county.
The competition runs from 1st May - 30th June 2008 and all entries must be handed in or submitted to a library by the final date.
Judging will take place in July. All entries must be accompanied by name and address and age, if under 16. Competition entry forms will be available in all libraries including mobiles, in schools and at the Art College and can be downloaded from the resources box below.
The winners will receive a year's free issues of DVDs, CDs and talking books as well as Jessops vouchers.
If you need help to understand a document, or would like it in another format or language, please call 01432 260500 or email info@herefordshire.gov.uk
