Children and Young People

Mother and baby enjoying book

Welcome to the Children and Young People Library Pages

All our libraries have a special section for children and young people where you can relax and enjoy looking for new books, DVDs and story tapes. There are books for all ages. Look for your favourite author or find exciting facts in the information books. Why not take a closer look at what we have to offer?

All our libraries hold activities in the school holidays. Look out for the Summer Reading Challenge for 4-12 year olds every summer holiday.

If you have a baby or toddler, you can now pick up your free Bookstart packs in our libraries too. Ask at your local library or check the Under 5s section of this website for more details.
