When did the redeveloped centre open?

The centre opened on Monday 5th January 2004.

What’s happening to the Clive Richards Room?

No changes are planned. The room will stay exactly as it is and will be used for the same purposes as before.

What will be the provision for young people?

The Bromyard Centre has a range of services that are available for young people. The new centre also provides a dedicated space for young people to meet. Programming of the centre will encourage young people to be a full part of the centre.

What are the opening hours for the new Bromyard Centre?

Mon/Wed/Fri 7.00 am to 11.00 pm
Tue/Thu 8.00 am to 11.00 pm
Sat/Sun 9.00 am to 7.00 pm

There is an additional timetable available for specific services.

Who is in charge of the centre?

There are two names to remember Gareth Miles, Centre Manager for Halo and Sue McEwen who is the Customer Services Manager on site for The Herefordshire Council.

Are prices going to rise?

No, all current prices for services provided by halo remain the same. Many of the new services are being provided free of charge, including broadband Internet service. Simply join the library when we open and you are away.

What will be the library opening hours?

Day(s) Opening Times
Mon – Fri 8.15am to 9.30pm
Sat/Sun 9.00am to 6.00pm

When did the old library close?

The old Bromyard library was open for the final time on Tuesday 9th December 2003.
