Arts Alive's Aims and Priorities
Arts Alive aims to foster and promote the improvement and development of artistic taste and knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the arts by encouraging the development and co-ordination of a range of good quality professional arts events in Shropshire & Herefordshire. Our overarching ambition is..."Promoting a broad range of professional arts events in partnership with local people bringing high quality and affordable arts events to within easy travelling distance of every person in Shropshire and Herefordshire"
Arts Alive's Aims:
- Maximising our Audiences
We wanted to understand our audiences better and attract more non-attenders making events more successful and attracting a bigger and broader audience. - Tomorrow's Audiences Today
We planned to embark on a three year program to get more young people (10yrs - 20yrs) involved in events, either as promoters or audiences and also to continue with our early years work. - Broad Horizons
We want to see more people accessing cultural shows and films - extend our range of performances and films out of the 'comfort zone' and ensuring that our programming represents multicultural Britain enabling rural audiences to be part of something global.
