We believe that participating in dance is a creative, learning experience that benefits health and well being and that watching dance performances excites, challenges, informs and pushes boundaries.
Our vision is that dancefest, already a focus for dance development in Herefordshire and Worcestershire will be a prominent force in raising the area's regional and national reputation for the range and quality of its dance programme.
Dancefest's Aims:
- To inspire using dance as a creative tool
- To develop the appreciation of dance by supporting a programme of professional performances at venues throughout Herefordshire and Worcestershire, particularly through the leadership of Worcestershire Dance Promoters.
- To enable local people of all ages and abilities to take part in high quality participatory activities through provision of projects and community programme of classes
- To strive for excellence
- To work in partnership with other organisations to ensure the strategic development of dance in the area
