Remembrance Day

The Record Office can supply a photocopy pack to assist teachers in preparing and delivering this topic so as to link local memories with national themes. Sources include letters and diaries of men who fought in WW1 and information on the involvement of local regiments in two World Wars and the erection of Hereford's war memorial.

If requested staff can also help teachers to research details on local war memorials or to identify the effects of war on a particular parish.
