This section provides access to a selection of useful information. Topics covered include some specific to Herefordshire Archaeology and this website, and others of wider interest and application.

• Downloads contains downloadable reports by Herefordshire Archaeology in pdf format. There is an ongoing programme of adding new reports to the list of those available in this way.
• Historic Environment Today is Herefordshire Archaeology's newsletter. It is published twice a year. New issues are available on this website, as well as an archive of earlier issues.
• Sites to Visit includes information on interesting sites and attractions in Herefordshire that are open to the public, as well as suggestions for self-guided walks and for school visits.
• How to Reference the Herefordshire Through Time Website gives helpful guidelines for students and researchers on how to provide references for information from this website used in essays and other work.
• Education provides information aimed at teachers and school students. It includes: a Teachers' Guide to assist teachers in using the Sites and Monuments Record for history and other classwork; advice for students on how to research history topics and write essays; and Education Resources, which gives suggestions for classroom and homework tasks and questions, linked to relevant history topics covered in the Herefordshire's Past section of this website.
• Information for Contractors is for archaeological contractors carrying out work in Herefordshire. It includes a downloadable Scheduled Monument Consent application form, Area of Archaeological Importance (AAI) Certificate application form and an Area of Archaeological Importance (AAI) Operations Notice form. The Area of Archaeological Importance covers the central area of the city of Hereford.
• Metal Detecting includes important information for anyone wishing to metal detect in Herefordshire, including the Portable Antiquities Scheme, the laws relating to metal detecting, and the Treasure Act.
• Links to Other Websites provides links to websites that may be of interest to users of Herefordshire Through Time.
