Historic Landscape Walks Programme for 2010 now available
Herefordshire Archaeology has announced its programme of guided historic landscape walks for 2010. These walks are designed to introduce members of the public to the constantly-changing aspects of life, both past and present, that influence the type of landscape in which we live. People from the local community and from further afield are welcome. A reasonable level of fitness is required as some of the routes are over steep or uneven ground. Dogs are welcome on short leads (unless stated otherwise for specific walks).
The walks are free, but due to the large numbers who regularly attend them we have had to implement a booking procedure. If you would like to attend one or more of the walks you will need to reserve a place by telephoning Moira Cassidy on 01432 260470 or e-mailing her at mcassidy@herefordshire.gov.uk. Bookings will be taken only during the 7 days prior to each walk. If you book a place and then find that you cannot attend a walk, please let Moira know so that she can offer your place to someone else.
