Planning Advice Surgeries

Planning Officers are available to answer simple planning enquiries at the following surgeries:-

• Hereford – Hereford Customer Services, Franklin House, 4 Commercial Road, Hereford
   Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9.15 am – 12.30 pm
• Ledbury – St Katherine’s, High Street, Ledbury.
   Tuesdays 10.00 am – 12.00 pm
• Ross on Wye – Ross Library and Customer Service Centre, Cantilupe Street, Ross on Wye.
   Thursdays 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm
• Leominster – Corn Square, Leominster.
   Fridays 9.30 am – 12.30 pm

Please note that this is a drop-in service only, with no prior appointment required.

At these surgeries we will provide advice on the following: 

• The forms, plans and supporting information required for submitting a planning application and the required fee.
• Queries about planning applications pending determination.
• Identification of the relevant development plan policies for particular development types.
• Advice regarding Permitted Development.
• Our procedures for handling and determining planning applications.
• Making a complaint about alleged unauthorised development.

At these drop-in surgeries, we are not able to provide detailed advice on whether site-specific proposals will receive planning permission and/or comply with the Development Plan. Such advice is now subject to the requirements of the Pre-Planing Application Advice Service, and is subject to a scale of charges. For information regarding this, please see the Resource Box below.
