Planning reception services are located at Hereford Customer Services, Franklin House, 4 Commercial Road, Hereford HR1 2BB.
At Hereford Customer Services, you can receive advice on the planning application process and view planning applications and the Statutory Planning register.

The opening hours for Hereford Customer Services, Franklin House are:
8.45am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday
8.45am to 4.45pm on Fridays
9am to 1pm on Saturdays

Planning application surgeries
A planning officer is available to discuss applications and any informal inquiries as follows:
- Hereford - Hereford Customer Services, Franklin House, 4 Commercial Road, Hereford - Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9.15am - 12.30pm
- Ledbury - St Katherine's, High Street, Ledbury - Tuesdays 10am - 12 noon
- Ross-on-Wye - Ross Library and Customer Service Centre, Cantilupe Street, Ross on Wye - Thursdays 2pm - 4pm
- Leominster - Corn Square, Leominster - Fridays 9.30am - 12.30pm
Please note that this is a drop-in service only, with no prior appointment required.
At these surgeries we will provide advice on the following:
- The forms, plans, supporting information and fees for submitting a planning application.
- Queries about planning applications pending determination.
- Identification of the relevant development plan policies for particular development types.
- Advice regarding permitted development.
- Our procedures for handling and determining planning applications.
- Making a complaint about alleged unauthorised development.
At these drop-in surgeries, we are not able to provide detailed advice on whether site-specific proposals will receive planning permission and/or comply with the Development Plan. This advice is provided through the Pre-planning application advice service and is subject to a scale of charges.
Local planning applications/decision notices are sent to all the above locations for inspection by members of the public. In addition, current applications in Bromyard Town and the parishes of Little Cowarne, Pencombe with Grendon Warren, Felton, Moreton Jefferies, Ocle Pychard, Stoke Lacy and Ullingswick are available for inspection at Bromyard Information Office, 1 Rowberry Street, Bromyard. Likewise applications in Kington Town/Rural and the parishes of Lyonshall, Titley, Brilley, Huntington and Lower Harpton area available for inspection at Kington Centre, 64 Bridge Street, Kington.
