Policy direction papers

Policy Development Papers for each policy direction as set out in Section 7 of the Place Shaping Paper Consultation (January 2010) have been produced as background documents (see Resources Box below). These outline how the emerging Core Strategy policy directions have been developed so far and how they will evolve into fully worded policies for the Submission stage of the final Core Strategy. They include details of relevant national, regional and local guidance, evidence base information, consultation responses so far and next steps for each policy topic.
