Supplementary Planning Documents

The new planning system incorporates provision for Supplementary Planning Documents to be prepared to offer further guidance to Development Plan Documents.

Such statements can cover a range of issues, both in terms of themes or site specific. They may take the form of design guides, area development briefs, or issue-based documents. In all cases they must supplement policies in a Development Plan Document. They cannot be used to allocate land for a particular purpose.

A number of Supplementary Planning Documents are proposed within the Council's Local Development Scheme.

  • Planning Obligations
  • Edgar Street Grid (ESG)
  • Archaeology & Development
  • Historic Landscapes
  • Model Farm, Ross-on-Wye
  • Polytunnels
  • Former Whitecross High School Development Brief
  • Shobdon Development Brief
