How to view documents for planning applications
Users can view all documents (forms, plans etc) for planning applications registered since 25th November 2005, through UK Planning
The council's statutory duty
The Council has a statutory duty to control the development and use of land and buildings within its boundaries.
Planning legislation sets out the legal framework for planning decisions and the development control section co-ordinates this process. The main objective of the section is to manage the development and use of land in order to help protect the amenity and environment of the County, while promoting high quality, sustainable development.
Planning Portal is the government's online service that advises on various aspects of the planning process.
