City Centre Living

Herefordshire Council is undertaking a review of the city centre in relation to accommodation and space above shops.  The aim of the project is to utilise existing space within the city centre to bring forward new accommodation and create a more vibrant city centre environment.

In line with the Unitary Development Plan, Herefordshire Council are offering a range of advice and assistance, from grants for renovation and conversion work to tenant finding and management options.  The aim is to help owners and leaseholders to convert unused space above shops into residential accommodation that will make use of the space and generate extra income.  There is a good demand for city centre accommodation for a range of households.

Please use the menu options on the left for further details on financial assistance and management options, and contact details for further information.
