Assessment of housing need
In line with the Housing Act 1985 and Planning Policy Statement 3, policies for the provision of affordable housing must be based on evidence of need.Herefordshire Council is in the process of undertaking a Local Housing Market Assessment and has a programme of housing needs surveys that identifies affordable housing needs across the rural settlement of Herefordshire.
